Dr. Brad Mitchell grew up in Bowling Green KY and is the youngest of three. His parents still reside in Bowling Green and frequently visit Dr. Mitchell, his wife Brittney and their son Grady and daughter Macklyn.   
Dr. Mitchell decided to become a Veterinarian when he was 5 because of his curiosity and passion for animals.
He completed his under grad at Kentucky in 2008 and moved on to Veterinary school at Auburn University, then graduated in 2012.  His medical interests include orthopedics, physical rehabilitation, and general surgery.  Dr. Mitchell and his wife Brittney purchased McMillan Veterinary Clinic in 2018. They are always striving to honor and carry on Dr. McMillan’s legacy.   
Dr. Mitchell is an avid Auburn Tigers fan and watches games with his son Grady. His four legged canine family includes Bella & Brodie, Jiggy, & Lu Lu. He also likes to spend time outdoors fishing, hiking and attend Nashville music events.

Dr. Amanda Harper is a Mississippi native and moved to the Nashville area to practice small animal veterinary medicine to be closer to her husband and family in 2017. 
She received a Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences at Mississippi State University and went on to complete her veterinary studies, earning a DVM at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2017.
Dr. Harper has a special interest in dermatology and ophthalmology and aspires to make a positive impact in the lives of pets and their families through veterinary medicine.
Dr. Harper is a recent resident of Hendersonville with her husband, daughter, and two dogs, a deaf Boston Terrier and a Husky/Border Collie mixed breed who have all been influential to the success in her career. The Harpers enjoy family time, being outdoors, and traveling.

Dr. Hillary Kaufman
is a 1979 graduate of Ohio State's College of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced veterinary medicine in 4 other states before settling in TN and joining the MVC team in 1995. Dr. Kaufman's medical interests include small animal medicine, weight management, nutrition, and parasite control. Outside MVC, she enjoys Karate and her many pets.

Dr. David Hale grew up in Hendersonville, TN.  His Father was a veterinarian and retired in 1980.
Education: Hendersonville High School, Graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.   Undergraduate at Volunteer State Community College and U.T. Knoxville.
Career / Work: First job was in Franklin, TN in a mixed practice: dogs, cats, horses, cattle, a few other things.
Moved to Charleston, SC, in the late 80’s.  Lived on the coast for over 11 years.  Emergency and small animal medicine.   One huge hurricane took the romance out of growing old on the coast.
He moved back to Knoxville and worked in a large animal shelter in Knox County.
Took a break from Veterinary Medicine in 2000 and joined the Air Force as a Public Health Officer for 3 years.   Assigned to Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, CA.    Deployed to Uzbekistan in October and November of 2001 for about 5 weeks. Moved back to Sumner County in 2003.
Practice Interests include Diabetes Management and Chronic Kidney Disease management.
Personal:  One beautiful girlfriend, one low-maintenance cat.
Interests / activities include: bicycling, occasional overnight motorcycle trips, vacations to historic or out-of-the-way destinations.   Destinations can be 10 miles away or 2000.   Favorite Saturday or Sunday activity: relaxing in a coffee house for an hour or two.
