Seizures

 Seizures can occur at any age due to many causes, such as, infection, tumor, trauma, metabolic problems, hereditary, but
in most cases the cause is unknown.

There is no test for seizures but ruling out the other causes may require a health assessment.  A pattern of repetitive seizures should exist before a long-term commitment to therapy is made.  

Treatment consists of anti-convulsant medication given daily.  The goal is to either reduce the frequency of seizures or the
severity.
